Affiliations and Activities:

The McKeesport Area Homeschoolers are a group of committed Christian parents who take very seriously and with joy the responsibility of providing an education for their children.  This most often takes place in the home, but also occurs in the Sunday School Classroom, church choir, pre-school play days in the park, neighborhood library, the museum workshop, state park nature center, community college chemistry lab, and on the soccer field.  We also welcome cyberschooling parents, private tutors and others who are deeply concerned with godly education.  Member families include those who participate in the McKeesport Area Homeschoolers Enrichment Classes.  Member families include those from Murraysville, Monroeville, Dravosburg, South Park, West Mifflin, Munhall, Pittsburgh, McKeesport, Liberty Borough, Port Vue, Elizabeth, Glassport, and many others.  Members combine their love for the Lord with expertise in specific areas to provide field trip opportunities, telephone support and encouragement and the sharing of resources.Parent support group meetings are conducted at the First Evangelical Free Church of McKeesport, 4001 University Drive, McKeesport, PA.
